Waterford Fire Department’s Save The Basement Strategy Works Like A Charm

Waterford Maine Fire DepartmentWATERFORD — Fire crews from three towns battled a house fire on Hunts Corner Road on Wednesday but by the time the smoke cleared, the home was destroyed. Fire officials said nobody was hurt in the 5 p.m. blaze at 316 Hunts Corner Road. The man who lived alone in the single-story house came home to find his house filled with smoke, according to a Waterford fire official. Shortly after, the house was up in flames.
