spring flingA lively ensemble of instrumentalists ranging in age from 10 to 80 will provide the music for a festive, Franco-themed Spring Fling on Saturday, May 14 from 1:30 to 4 p.m. in Lewiston Public Library’s Callahan Hall. Fashioned after the old-time Franco kitchen parties, the event will be a family affair with dancing and singing along to some traditional French Canadian “jigs-&-reels.” Admission to the event will be $3 for adults and just $1 for youngsters, including any full-time students up to age 22. The musical ensemble for the event will feature fiddles, guitars, accordion, mandolin, banjo, spoons and more. (read more about the Spring Fling at the Twin City Times)
