Skowhegan Fire Department’s Save The Basement Strategy Works Like A Charm

Skowhegan Maine Fire DepartmentSKOWHEGAN — A fire late Saturday night destroyed a camp at 721 Notch Road. Firefighters received a call at 10:17 p.m. and it took about an hour and a half to get the fire under control, said Skowhegan Fire Department firefighter Linwood Dorson, who was one of those who responded to the call. Dorson said people were at the camp during the day but had gone into town for the night and no one was there when the fire was reported. (read more at Morning Sentinel)
