The Rumford Police Department reported 79 complaints requiring officers for the week of May 23 through the 30th. Arrests and Summonses for the period include:

5/23 – 7:00 PM, Timothy Gotto, 50, of Rumford was arrested by Ptl. Donald Miller for Violation Conditions of Release on Essex Avenue. Gotto was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on July 6th.

5/24 – 3:35 AM, Allana Schlear, 24, of Rumford was arrested by Ptl. Donald Miller on a Warrant for Failure to Appear for Assault. Schlear was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail.

5/25 – 2:25 PM, Timothy Tuttle, 21, of Rumford was arrested by Ptl. Lawrence Winson on a Warrant for Failure to Appear for Violation Conditions of Release. Tuttle was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail.

5/27 – 11:09 PM, Tara Amburg, 24, of Rumford was arrested by Ptl. Donald Miller for Disorderly Conduct on Waldo Street. Amburg posted $200 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on July 6th.

5/29 – 8:13 AM, David Giberson, 46, of Rumford was summonsed by Sgt. James Bernard for Violation Conditions of Release and Possession of a scheduled “Y” drug on Hancock Street. Giberson is scheduled to appear in South Paris Superior Court on August 20th.

Assault:

5/26 – 4:15 PM, Franklin Street resident reporting an assault. Suspect fled the area and a warrant has been requested.

Burglary:

5/23 – 6:47 PM, Rumford resident reporting an open door at a vacant business. Suspect pried open the front door and gained entry. Nothing appears to be missing and the case is under investigation.

Criminal Mischief:

5/23 – 10:01 PM, Route 108 resident reporting $500 damage to her vehicle. The case is under investigation.

Theft:

5/26 – 3:51 AM, Waldo Street resident reporting theft of medication. The case is under investigation

5/29 – 6:55 AM, South Rumford resident reporting theft of a $12 inspection sticker. The case is under investigation.
