Singer/songwriter and Rumford native Rebecca Martin is returning home for a performance at the 49 Franklin reception hall and theater in downtown Rumford on March 10th. Rebecca will perform her critically acclaimed jazz compositions and standards along with her husband, bassist Larry Grenadier. Proceeds from the show will benefit the Rumford-based Hope Association, which offers help to those afflicted with developmental disabilities.
“Coming back home to perform and to help to raise money for the Hope Association is something I am looking forward to,” says Rebecca. “Having had a child with delays due to Sensory Processing issues, I understand how important it is for places to exist to help in either early intervention or by offering ongoing support. It’s an honor for us to lend a hand in my home town in this way”.
Advance tickets for the show are $10; $12 dollars at the door. For more information, and to purchase tickets online, visit the 49 Franklin website.
