Fort Kent Police On The Lookout For Recliner Thieves. Suspects Described As Semi-Supine, Half-Asleep, And Clutching A Remote

Maine news from The Rumford MeteorFORT KENT– In a strange coincidence of timing, another incident involving recliners occurred in the St. John Valley when a thief or thieves stole two from Paul Bouchard’s Strip Road residence sometime between Sept. 20 and Nov. 5. On Nov. 5, a Madawaska ambulance collided with a recliner in the middle of Route 1. Investigating Officer Trooper Dan Marquis believes the two incidents are unrelated, but said he is unable to provide details of the ongoing investigation into the theft at the Bouchard residence to explain how he arrived at that conclusion.
