middle school of the KennebunksKENNEBUNK – Students and teachers at Middle School of the Kennebunks took virtual field trips all over the world Monday, without leaving the school library. They visited the Taj Mahal, the Grand Canyon, Angel Falls, the Great Wall of China, and even took a college tour of George Washington University all through the Google Expeditions Pioneer Program. The students were trying out a new product being piloted by Google that allows teachers to take their classes on virtual field trips via a collection of virtual reality video and 360-degree photo panoramas using a smartphone and a special Google Cardboard viewfinder.
