Daniel RiceBANGOR, Maine — A Lincoln man who has been accused in separate cases of having sexual intercourse with two teenage girls is facing new charges after allegedly continuing to have sex with one of the victims while he was free on bail. Daniel Rice, 21, stated to at least three girls in text messages, “I want to take your virginity,” according to the most recent complaint filed at the Penobscot Judicial Center. Court documents did not say whether he sent that message to either of his alleged victims. Rice remained Tuesday at Penobscot County Jail unable to make bail set Monday at $10,000 cash. He first was charged Sept. 17 in a summons with sexual abuse of a minor for allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old girl in her parents’ garage, according to Tracy Lacher, assistant district attorney for Penobscot County.
