If You Give A Mouse A Cookie, He’s Going To Ask For A Glass Of Milk. If You Give A Cellphone To Arianna, She’s Going To Ask Maverick To Break Your Leg With A Baseball Bat

BANGOR, Maine — A 15-year-old Garland boy who let a girl use his cellphone to call her ex-boyfriend back in June and then took the ex-boyfriend to where she was staying later was beaten by a group of her friends, one of whom had a baseball bat, police say. Arianna Irwin, 20, Maverick Manuel, 22, and a 17-year-old boy, all of Bangor, were charged last week in connection with the June 12 beating, which broke the Garland boy’s leg and caused face and arm injuries, Bangor police Sgt. Paul Edwards said Wednesday. Irwin reportedly was upset that the Garland boy brought her ex-boyfriend over to her residence on Palm Street, and she went to the Essex Street residence where the 15-year-old was staying. She brought along Manuel and the 17-year-old, the sergeant said. (read more at the Bangor Daily News)
