Governor Applauds Student Program to Build Race Car. Search on for Driver Who Can Turn Left While Texting

PARIS — Governor Paul LePage visited a group of middle school students who are engaged in a class project to build a race car at Crazy Horse Racing, a local business. LePage praised the program, and said it was a part of a larger movement to get technical training back into public schools after a hiatus of decades. “We all learn differently,” said LePage. “Narrowing it down to just books was a big mistake this country made. We need to be broader with our approach, like we were in the fifties.” Every week, kids in the class spend time at Crazy Horse Racing, learning how to construct race cars. They have a goal of building one of their own to compete in the 2013 Oxford 250. (read more at the Advertiser  Democrat)
