Maine Warden Service Reports The Environment Has Claimed Another Environmentalist

maine warden serviceHAMPDEN, Maine (NEWS CENTER) — The Maine Warden Service says a recreational boater found the body of 65-year old Juliet Markowksky about three-and-a-half miles downriver from where they focused their search. The warden service worked with the Maine Marine Patrol, Hampden Police and the volunteer group Dirigo Search and Rescue to find Juliet — or Judy as her friends called her. The search started Wednesday evening. Judy was a prominent member of the Maine Audubon Society and was the organization’s first staff member in the Bangor area.
