childrens paradePHILLIPS — During Phillips Old Home Days, Sunday’s featured event is Bob Parker’s Annual Children’s Parade, which is looked forward to every bit as much as the grand parade on Friday evening. This year was no exception. As with Friday’s parade, the theme was “Disney Comes to Phillips”, but this parade was all about the youngsters. Each participant chose a prize after the parade. Trophies were presented to winners in four categories: Funniest, “Towmater’s Princess Rescue Service” by Kera Cushman and Dominci Bachelder and “The Little Pirate”, Thomas Thorne; Most Original to Theme, “Anna and Elisa” by Kayla and Kaitlyn Curtis; Most Beautiful, “The Little Mermaid” by Zoey Abbott; Judges’ Choice, “Tinkerbell” by Francesca “Franny” Hill and “The Little Rascals” by Clayton and Clinton “Junior” Murray.
