BANGOR, Maine — Bail has been set at $5,000 cash for a 24-year-old Milford man accused of robbing the Main Road Redemption Center earlier this month. Joshua Long, who remained at Penobscot County Jail early Friday evening, was arrested Wednesday and charged with Class A robbery in connection with the robbery, which occurred on July 2. During Long’s initial appearance Friday at the Penobscot Judicial Center, Penobscot County Assistant District Attorney Alice Clifford recommended that Long’s bail be set at $25,000 because the suspect, who is originally from California, appears to have few ties to Maine.
